The Global Marketing Operations Leader is responsible for driving all executional practices for the Global Marketing Organization. This candidate and their staff will work with members of the Marketing Leadership Team and partner COEs to optimize the processes and tools that drive the marketing organization's effectiveness across Equifax properties.
The ideal candidate will bring the capability to establish the vision for the right marketing processes, including how it should connect with efforts across sales and partner COEs. This leader will also own the systems and tools within the organization, and drive tool rationalization (inventorying and offloading) as well as deployment and administration of all systems across the team. This individual will also drive connectivity across our tools, to ensure a strong user experience for sales and marketing professionals. Lastly, the leader will also be responsible for data mastery, including customer information to inform marketing strategy, and customer contact data management to increase impact from campaigns and other executional efforts.
In addition to driving the areas above, this leader will also play a key support role as a partner to the other members of the marketing leadership team and establish a framework to measure marketing's effectiveness, efficiency and overall impact to the business. These efforts include alignment with Technology and Security partners to ensure capabilities meet internal standards, transfer of operational workstreams historically housed in various parts of marketing (i.e. price program execution with our billing teams), business case support as we identify opportunities for improvement and investment, and training and change management programs for solution-facing end users. This team will also lead the monitoring and measurement of the effectiveness of our marketing efforts across the globe.
The Global Marketing Operations Leader will assume a staff of professionals, and will be tasked with determining optimized team structure and capacity to deliver impact to all parts of Marketing. The Global Marketing Operations Leader will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and serve as a member of the Equifax Marketing Leadership Team.
•Develop optimal process across the marketing organization, and approaches to align with BU and partner COE approaches
•Develop global vision for modernization of the marketing organization, and organizational support required to bring this to life
•Provides dependable advice and consultation to the CMO, leveraging marketing performance data
•In conjunction with the CMO, collaborates with marketing leaders to achieve alignment with the corporate strategy
•Orchestrates the annual marketing planning process (e.g. milestones, participants, actions, templates, calendar), ensuring marketing's goals are aligned with sales and product objectives
•Ensures impact-level marketing measurement and executive reporting on marketing's contribution to the business
•Coordinates the budget strategy and manages the budget allocation and reconciliation process
•Ensures that marketing measurement drives performance review of key functions and campaigns
•Leads data strategy development and infrastructure deployment, including technology ownership and marketing process governance
•Gathers and disseminates internal and external marketing best practices
•Participates in the development of organizational alignment, competency assessments and skills development, as directed by the CMO
•Delivers effective change management and communications for technology implementation, data policy and process re-engineering within marketing
•Assume administration for all systems within marketing, establishing a central administration center
•Rationalize existing tools by leading global inventorying, governance, and offloading, in alignment with the categorization and sub-capability framework
•Establish and communicate process for access, licensing, and deployment for all solutions, as well as implementation of best practice tools that should be used across the COE
•Partner with MLT subject matter experts to ensure the best systems and tools solutions are deployed across the organization
•Build strong engagement and points of connectivity across Business Units and key COEs (Finance, Technology, Security, Sales Enablement, and Operations)
•Deliver operational thought-leadership across the Equifax Global Marketing Organization
•Bachelor's degree required. MBA preferred.
•10+ years' experience across Marketing, Finance and/or Operations
•5+ years' experience leading teams to establish global processes and deploy global tools
•Extensive experience working with inter- and intra- organizational partners to deliver results and drive optimization
•Strong knowledge of existing Equifax processes inside and outside of Marketing a plus
•Fundamental understanding of strong marketing tools and processes available in the market
•Fundamental knowledge of sales, billing, and service processes into which a marketing organization would need to connect
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience communicating with all levels of an organization
•Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
