As Social Media Specialist you’ll play an integral role in growing CallRail’s brand awareness on the Brand Marketing team. Specifically, you’ll be responsible for growing and engaging our audience across our social channels: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram. The Social Media Specialist will create, curate and schedule content that drives brand awareness, follower growth, audience engagement and promotes CallRail events (trade shows, webinars, customer meetups, etc.). The Social Media Specialist will support the Community Marketing Manager in strategy creation by providing analytics, insights, and research on relevant industry trends. In this role, you will report metrics on a weekly and monthly basis to be reviewed by the Community Marketing Manager. Lastly, you will aid in review acquisition, as well as monitoring and managing our review platforms.  This role reports to CallRail’s Community Marketing Manager.

We’re looking for someone who has a passion for data-driven marketing decisions, is internally driven, and can pair creative with analytics to elevate our brand’s presence in the global market.

What You’ll Do

  • Take ownership of social media publishing calendar and incorporate in-house produced and curated content in conjunction with campaigns planned by Community Marketing Manager
  • Write succinct social copy and schedule selected content via Sprout Social
  • Report metrics on weekly and monthly basis
  • Stay current on trends in social media, tech and community strategy - conduct research on new initiatives and campaigns to test
  • Develop and implement strategy for brand exposure and audience growth on Instagram
  • Create visual brand content for use on social media platforms at company events
  • Monitor and respond to online brand mentions and requests for customer support via social channels
  • Monitor online review platforms and respond to any reviews that need attention

Desired Skills & Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or comparable work experience
  • 2+ years managing a brand’s social media on channels including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn & Instagram
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Experience planning social media campaigns and tracking results
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and UTMs
  • Experience using Sprout Social and BuzzSumo a plus
  • Strategic thinker with a demonstrated track record for problem solving and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, cross-functional environment with minimal supervision
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Design experience and familiarity with Canva, Adobe Design programs preferred
