What does a successful Senior Sales Operations Analyst do?

They provide direct support to the Financial & Risk Management sales leadership team that enables them to more effectively lead their teams, increase the rate of adoption of the Fiserv Way of Selling & standard methodologies and spend more time in the field. They also provide significant contribution and support to major initiatives.

Education:

•Bachelor’s Degree

JobRelatedExperience:

•2+ years of experience in a sales operations role in a software company or comparable B2B industry (Consulting, Financial Services) preferred

•Salesforce or similar CRM experience with ability to build queries and reports

•Proven comfort working in a cross-functional, matrix-oriented environment

•Possess an understanding of sales processes and the support needs of a sales organization

•Effectively communicate with multiple functional groups

•Proven understanding of key sales performance metrics and processes (pipeline, forecasting, demand generation, etc.)

•Experienced in partnering and supporting senior leaders

•Deep understanding of business process management standard methodologies, documentation, and measuring continuous improvement

Preferred/AdditionalSkills:

•Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task

•Ability to distill loosely defined problems, identify potential approaches and execute solutions

•Strong analytical skills

•Confident and highly communicative, with excellent business insight and a willingness to challenge others or propose changes

•Ability to work well within a team

•Very strong skill level with Microsoft Office, especially Excel

•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

•Positive relationship building skills

•Strong communications skills (written and oral)

•Strong project and time management skills

•Willingness to travel as appropriate (estimated at less than 25%)

Additional responsibilities:

•Be initial point of contact for all Salesforce.com (“eCRM) reporting requests, issues, dashboards, etc.

•Liaison with eCRM reporting team on reports and the latest updates

•Develop and Manage monthly management and sales reporting and work to improve it and transition to a more user-friendly dashboard environment

•Communicate effectively with sales leadership to identify and address areas for improvement within their respective teams and assist them where needed with internal meeting preparation, territory analysis, and sales executive level reporting

•Dedicatedly collect and share sales best practices – identify strategy and tactics that are working for one sales leader or sales executive and share them with others

•Support the sales forecasting process, as appropriate

•Participate in planning and execution of major Sales Operations initiatives

•Work with contracts administration team as needed

•Work in partnership with other individuals and groups within FRMS. These may include Finance, GMs, GSO, Product, Marketing, Professional Services, etc.

•Assist Director of Sales Operations with monthly operations reviews, deep dive reporting, sales kick off, quarterly business reviews, annual budget, and long range planning, as appropriate
