Oversee the production of national print advertising.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
•Drives creative production of print advertising including catalogues, tabs, ROP, brochures, signs and any other printed material.
•Partners with Merchandising leadership, Client Services Account Executives and Marketing leadership to drive creative templates for brands across all categories.
•Approves concepts and monitors progress of print production processes to ensure the message is conveyed consistent with the initial vision for the project.
•Possesses a vast knowledge of print materials and understands which print vehicles are the best for a message given the particular product(s) and goals of the Merchandising group.
•Participates in initial concept brainstorming after print project is requested to add creative guidance and unique solutions that are consistent with company brand.
•Ensures that all print material coming out of the creative group is brand relevant.
•Reviews the production process to seek workflow improvements an reduce production costs. Gives guidance to ensure that the creative product selected meets the communication goal of the message.
•Develops talent by building a highly efficient/creative team.

•Solutions require analysis and investigation.
•Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles and practical experience.
•Manages a group or team of professional individual contributors and/or indirectly supervises support staff.
•Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
•Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
•Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Education and Experience
•Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline. Generally 7+ years experience in related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
Preferred Qualifications & Job Specific Details
•Working knowledge of marketing, finance, human resources, advertising, merchandising and operations.
•Working knowledge of all print production processes from concept to execution
•Experience with Project Management Software a plus
