Job Title: Inside Sales Executive, Digital Solutions - Restaurants

Job Family: Sales & Marketing

Job Family Group: Business Development

Classification: Exempt

Reports to: Sr. Manager, Client Development, Promotions

About You:

You are a sharp, resourceful, and highly motivated sales person. You are able to collaborate on a team, adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment, and you’re a “hunter” by nature. You are willing to work hard to meet and exceed your monthly quota, but are able to relax and have fun with your team.

 

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Influence (40%)
  • Engage potential new clients (restaurants/merchants) by phone, email and other digital methods
  • Prospect your assigned leads in territories all around the US, qualifying merchants for potential opportunities and delivering “30 second commercials”
  • Facilitate introductions between new clients and the merchant success management team
  • Accompany sales leadership on exploratory phone meetings with potential new distribution partners and brand partners
  • Strategic (30%)
  • Generate new leads from independent research to compliment pre-existing leads in Salesforce.com (company’s CRM tool)
  • Schedule and deliver presentations via phone and web-based demonstrations to pitch the platform to prospects, ranging from independent business general managers and owners to c-level executives of major national chains.
  • Work with marketing and sales leadership to develop strategy to pitch into potential new verticals for the platform
  • Administrative (25%)
  • Consistently follow-up on prospects in your pipeline and execute deals with new clients
  • Input all data, activity, contracts and account plans into Salesforce.com
  • Facilitate cross-functional team meetings when necessary
  • Technical (5%)
  • Work with IT team to develop your technical language around the product in order to best prospect questions about the software and installation.

Required Qualification:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or a related field
  • 2-4 years related work experience selling digital or software solutions into Convenience Stores or Restaurants
  • Advanced beginner of Saleforce.com (or other CRM)
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Competent in Google Suite

Key Performance Indicators:

  • KPI 1: Close deals with at least 12 merchant locations each month
  • KPI 2: Make at least 50-60 outbound touches per day
  • KPI 3: Run at a minimum of three presentations per day and schedule at least three presentations each day
