Field Marketing Manager (East – remote) – Boston, Atlanta, New York


The Opportunity:

As a Field Marketing manager, you will be aligned with the Director of North America Field Marketing, sales, partner and customer team(s) to help create and execute targeted marketing campaigns and events to ensure revenue goals are met. This position will be remote and ideally based in Boston, New York/New Jersey or Atlanta. Proven experience in various marketing functions, including demand gen, digital marketing and online and traditional marketing, is required.  Specifically, you will:


  • Develop quarterly marketing plans to support the regional field sales, partner and installed base growth objectives focused on driving bookings across all segments of the business: Enterprise, Commercial & Customer expansions
  • Work closely with the global campaigns, corporate events and product marketing team to launch relevant local campaigns focused on sales velocity, engagement from target market accounts, and new bookings. Hands on work in Marketo and required
  • Forecast, measure and analyze impact of programs on sales cycles; produce weekly reports and monthly dashboards to demonstrate campaign progress and region success
  • Analyze the marketing funnel, channel mix and customer segmentation to formulate ideas and approaches to optimize cost effective pipeline acceleration across different customer segments and personas
  • Assist sales team in developing regional and campaign specific target lists through the CRM database
  • Communicate with sales in order to gain buy-in, understanding and participation in marketing programs
  • Identify sales training needs and collaboratively develop programs to address field sales knowledge weakness
  • Build and maintain ongoing communications with the regional sales VPs and directors, field marketing peers and account executives
  • Manage a regional budget with accountability for reporting ROI, spend and vendor relationships

Required Skills/ Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, related field or equivalent experience is required; MBA is desired
  • Ability to travel between 25-30%
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in high technology B2B enterprise software or SaaS field marketing required
  • Experience working in marketing with proven success and high initiative in the creation and execution of effective demand generation marketing campaigns
  • Understand complex buying/selling processes involving multiple decision-makers for software and services purchases
  • Experience with sales operations, reporting, marketing & campaign dashboards and KPIs
  • Proficient in MS Office applications including Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Experience with Tableau is a plus
  • and Marketing Automation experience required. Marketo experience preferred
  • Must possess excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills
  • Strong ability to influence others and work collaboratively with other departments
  • Ability to manage large detailed project to tight timelines. Responds under pressures of time and uncertainty
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to earn trust and respect from sales management and peers
  • High energy, self-directed, team player
