The Vice President - Capability Marketing Leader, Data-Driven Marketing (DDM) will lead the development of DDM growth strategies, as well as oversee specific marketing plans and initiatives for the DDM capability. This includes understanding the competitive landscape, market dynamics and trends, voice of the customer and solution gaps, as well as working closely with the vertical marketing leaders to address needs/opportunities for the enterprise verticals. The Capability Marketing Leader, DDM will also be responsible for influencing the Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) pipeline to continually understand and influence how the USIS business can expand and enhance DDM growth.

This key role reports into the Senior Marketing Officer - USIS and will work closely with the BU President, DDM Leadership, Marketing, Product, Sales, Operations, Technology and Corporate Development.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategy Development: Develop strategies to drive growth in core and adjacent areas for USIS.
Strategic Planning: Lead the long-term strategic planning process for the Business Unit, including leading the Growth Playbook that addresses current year +3 planning.
Mergers and Acquisitions Strategy: partner with the Marketing, Product and Sales Leaders, Corporate Development and the BU President to develop and manage the M&A strategy and pipeline for the Business Unit. This may include: aligning the M&A strategy to the long-term strategy of the business unit, working with a variety of Vertical market team members to develop value chain views of the business and determine strategic gaps to fill through M&A, and early stage due diligence on potential deals.
Marketing Operations: Ensure connectivity to Strategies, Marketing Plans and Budgets; Develop and maintain ROI measurements for Marketing.
Prioritization: work with key leaders in the business and Marketing functions to develop and regularly maintain prioritization by strategic initiative, vertical, etc.
Marketing functional alignment: utilize outputs from all of the above to properly and regularly inform Marketing peers of Business Unit objectives, strategies, etc. in order to ensure full alignment of Marketing to Sales and other cross-functional teams. This should also include providing guidance to Marketing functions in a variety of areas: New Product Innovation (NPI) priorities, product roadmaps, pricing strategy and pricing programs, and channel strategies.

EXPERIENCE: 15+ years business experience (optimally a mixture of experiences in a consulting firm and in a corporate environment) in Marketing Services and/or Product Development - in verticals such as Financial Services, Telecommunications and Retail.
EXPERIENCE: Developing, implementing and delivering growth strategies across multiple stakeholder teams
EXPERIENCE: Business Development and Partnership Development a plus
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree required. M.B.A. preferred or equivalent business experience.

EQUIPMENT: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal skills with sensitivity to diversity of audiences including internal and external groups of varying sizes. Must be capable of simply communicating and documenting the value proposition of product(s) for markets and segments. Listens carefully and encourages/accepts other points of view. Excellent MS Office skills required.
Builds Teamwork: Develops effective working relationships with peers, managers, and senior management within and across organizational lines. Works effectively and cooperatively with customers and vendors.
Adaptability: Adjusts well to situations (e.g., different management styles, new methods, systems and procedures) and changing priorities within the business and the marketplace.
Management of Resources: Is well organized and focuses on the highest priorities first. Strong project management skills required.
Development of People: Initiates and takes responsibility for own development as well as peers and potentially subordinates.
Problem Solving Skills: Strategic and innovative thinking with ability to develop and understand financial and economic scenarios.
Digital: Understanding and experience in how digital/mobile is changing the needs of banks and other financial institutions
Technical Skills: Experience in the technology and/or data industries or working with technology and/or data-related products and services preferred. Should understand the basic concepts of technology and/or data product development and delivery.
