The Product Leader - Core Data and Model Risk Management is responsible for delivering new product innovation and development for core data (inclusive of internal data and 3rd party data) that contribute to Equifax's NPI Vitality Index, and definition, validation, and commercialization of early stage innovative product concepts. This position is critical to driving products and activities that support Equifax's vision to be a global insights leader. Additionally the Product Leader - Core Data and Model Risk Management is responsible for supporting the enterprise-wide Equifax Model Risk Management program. The Product MRM team is responsible for integration and management of the program into the product innovation and management framework.
This position will manage a team of ~ 4 individual contributors, and will report directly to the VP - Enterprise Insights & Core Data Products

Key areas of responsibility include:

Core Data product management: new product innovation and lifecycle management for data and analytical capabilities such as core data products, 3rd party data products and other data/analytical innovations that are core, or foundational, to enabling strategic insights and data-driven decisions across customer life cycle stages within multiple industries.
Achieves revenue and market share targets defined in fiscal year plans for products in area of responsibility.
Leads efforts in developing product and product line strategies, directions and recommendations as input to overall company planning process.
Works with industry consultants to identify and establish appropriate product markets for short and long-term investment.
Oversees analysis of current and future markets, technology and competitive trends to support strategy, product development and forecast planning.
Drives product life cycle analysis and determines life cycle position and value to company. Drives strategy and product plans based on results.
Develops three-year business plans and product line forecasts based on life cycle and market analysis, historical financial performance and competitive analysis.
Works with Accounting/Finance, providing input to analysis regarding return on investment and profitability analysis.
Provides business planning guidance and counsel to senior management to support overall company objectives and communicates with other internal groups including engineering, technical communications, corporate communications, and customer service regarding product and market planning.
Guides market positioning for products and product lines, pricing, packaging, and product placement.
Model Risk Management Program Management: develops comprehensive product practices that support the enterprise-wide Model Risk Management program, based on market and segment needs, including:
Continual alignment of model risk management program and deliverables with the product innovation framework and ongoing life cycle management process
Ensure alignment for ongoing model performance monitoring plans
Via customer conversations proactively obtains and aligns with changing compliance requirements
Ensure execution of product change management processes and best practices
Ensures development and execution of internal trainings
Ensures execution of model documentation request process and alignment
Drives coordination between product marketing, marketing communications and sales to maintain a comprehensive go-to-market plan for the Model Risk Management function within Equifax brand and product portfolios
Drives product remediation for all existing Equifax models in support of the model risk management program

Bachelors degree required, MBA preferred
Product Management ecosystem experience preferred, preferably with an understanding of various product management disciplines
Project management experience required.
Go-to-Market planning and execution experience
An understanding of Equifax markets and customers as well as have a basic understanding of Equifax technology and product delivery
Strong communication and presentation skills for communicating technical product information both verbally and in writing.
Applied organizational, planning and time management skills. Applied mathematical, analytical, and problem solving skills.
Ability to engage clients, vendors, and industry professionals on behalf of Equifax at Industry Conferences, Sessions, and client visits.
Understanding of and related experience in consumer risk management or marketing management preferred.
Knowledge of and related experience in consumer risk modeling, credit marketing and collections preferred
Understanding of and related experience in model risk management practices preferred.
Position will require some travel - approximately 15-20%.
