The Product Leader works with the Banking and Lending vertical teams to manage existing products and bring to market new innovative products and solutions. This "player-coach" role balances short term execution priorities with long term growth strategies. The position is highly market/customer driven, and works across the organization, leveraging the skills and knowledge of the Vertical Marketing Leader, Pricing, Data & Analytics, Solutions Marketing, Sales, Market Strategy, Finance, Operations and Technology, as required, to address market/client needs identified and prioritized through the Banking and Lending vertical strategy.

The Product Leader may lead a team of direct reports, and works with the Banking and Lending vertical team to understand the market, drive customer engagement, define strategic priorities and identify/execute product initiatives that meet market/customer demand (existing products, product enhancements and lifecycle management, and new product innovation).

Focus:
Define product strategy that informs the overall vertical growth strategy
Drive customer engagement that delivers valuable insights (competitive intel, VOC, POCs, market testing, etc.)
Drive new product innovation pipeline process and development
Leverage Equifax enterprise assets to drive new product innovation concepts through to implementation and launch
Identify Build/Buy/Partner scenarios to meet priority objectives (data, analytics, technology, etc)
Lifecycle management of the current product portfolio
Optimize distribution

Additional areas of responsibility include:
Owns product strategy, product line plan and roadmap
Drives business case development
Collaborates with other marketing functions (analytics, pricing, product marketing, marketing communication, etc)
Collaborates across business units and centers of excellence (sales, channel partners, technology, operations)

Qualifications:

EXPERIENCE:
The ideal candidate possesses strong product management and leadership skills and experience.
Knowledge of the Banking and Lending industry and lifecycles, including market/business intelligence, prospecting/acquisition, origination/underwriting, account/customer/portfolio management, collections and recovery.
10+ years in related experience/field; 5+ years in a Product Management role within a data and analytics company.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in marketing or similar field required. M.B.A. or equivalent business experience preferred.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Customer, prospect and partner meetings, team meetings, industry events and conferences: Up to 20%

EQUIPMENT: Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Internet Explorer. Specifically, expert skills in Excel and PowerPoint.

Leadership: Focuses on "high value" activities - is well organized and focuses on the highest priorities. Guides the team and produces strong results through others. Strong project management skills required. Ability to work independently to solve problems with cross-functional team.
Technical: Experience in the technology and/or data industries or working with technology and/or data-related products and services.
