Equifax is looking for a Sr. Product Manager - Batch Platform. The candidate must have relevant product management experience working in an Agile environment with geographically distributed teams, managing enterprise class data ingestion, delivery and large volume processing products that are secure, scalable and meet the diverse global capability and operational requirements of multi-geo customers.

Experience should include:
Experience in product management, technology product management or working with technology related products and services.
Working with large scale data processing technologies for data transformation and ingestion, data storage, and purposed data delivery via real-time and/or large batch processing channels.
Working knowledge and/or understanding of various data formats, data models and schemas.
Working knowledge and/or understanding of open source data storage, processing and messaging technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
Working knowledge and/or understanding of security considerations such as data tokenization, data encryption at rest and in motion, access control, logging and alerts.
Understanding of the basic concepts of product management, product development and product delivery.
Industry experience working with data exchanges or data batch processing.

Responsibilities include:
Have product management responsibility for one or more of the major batch processing platforms including identifying and prioritizing customer requirements, defining product roadmap and driving the release planning process.
Insure products/capabilities conform to all required Equifax, industry and geo-region security requirements.
Engage with internal business unit to understand their requirements and desired timing to migrate from legacy capabilities or adopt new capabilities as part of a new project.
Insure alignment and understanding of key drivers and success metrics (timing, revenue, cost reduction, new capabilities, and/or security/regulatory requirements) of business unit project and business cases to implement capabilities.
Ownership or key contributor to the development and approval process of required business case(s) for your products.
Manage and host Front Door process and Steering Committee meetings to insure transparency and alignment.
Be a subject matter expert in your area of responsibility and be able to communicate at multiple levels adapting to varying audience including technology partners, product managers, and various business unit personal and senior executives.
Stay up to date with current technologies and trends on an ongoing basis to contribute to long-term strategy and product development.
Leads efforts in developing product and product line strategies, directions and recommendations as input to overall company planning process.
Provides business planning guidance and counsel to senior management to support overall company objectives and communicates with other internal groups.
Drives product life cycle analysis and determines life cycle position and value to company.

Other requirements:
Bachelors degree in a related field
4 - 7 years of progressive, related work experience in product management is preferred, otherwise expertise in product development, technology solution implementation or as a business analyst for a related type of product.
Ability to develop effective working relationships with peers, managers, and senior management within and across organizational lines.
Demonstrated abilities interacting with technical, business and executive personnel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as, strong product planning skills
Adjust well to changing situations (e.g., different management styles, new methods, systems and procedures) and priorities within the business and the marketplace
Experience working directly with customers, technology vendors and business partners.
