The role of Product Manager has been newly created to support the growing Fraud & Identity product portfolio. Helping to execute on the Global Fraud & Identity Strategy, the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of product management from product concept, product road map plans, strategy and go-to-market plans. The role involves working with many parts of the organisation including technology, legal & compliance, pricing specialists, sales teams and other product teams.
The successful person will manage the entire product process from inception to product launch and will work closely with other Fraud & Identity product managers to ensure integration of existing fraud & identity products where appropriate. The person will p rovide influence and expertise to discussions including technology decisions, process decisions, and product decisions.
Ideally, the candidate will p ractice market driven product management (such as Pragmatic Marketing Framework) to exploit revenue growth opportunities across the industry in an effort to improve financial performance. They will e ngage with and research market dynamics to understand business issues and establish associated value for different market segments/industries. The ability to u nderstand market drivers and business problems in order to solution and drive delivery to the market is essential.
Product Manager Responsibilities
Understand competitive landscape and be able to create distinctive competencies for Equifax.
Management of product propositions and development of fraud and identity enhanced solutions, with a critical focus on ensuring that volume, reporting, revenue targets are met.
Provide clear messaging on positioning of individual and combined solutions and deliver sales enablement education content to the marketing and sales teams.
Make key recommendation on how existing fraud & identity products and other Equifax products should be combined or integrated to solve market problems.
Design optimal methods for product demonstrations and presentations and develop ROI sales tools.
Product Manager - Requirements
5+ years in relevant product management experience - preferably gained in software & technology company; otherwise expertise in product development, technology solution implementation or as a business analyst for a related type of product
Strong subject matter expertise in Identity, Fraud, Compliance, or related fields preferable.
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, or related field/experience desirable
Strong technical skills and ability to utilize PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and other programs effectively
Ability to develop effective working relationships with peers, managers, and senior management within and across organizational lines.
Demonstrated abilities interacting with technical, business and executive personnel
Ability to work effectively across matrix organization.
Experience in negotiating priorities and resolving conflicts among project stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong product planning skills
Able to adjust well to changing situations (e.g., different management styles, new methods, systems and procedures) and priorities within the business and the marketplace
Experience working directly with customers, technology vendors and business partners.
