Description

The Equifax Global Consumer Solutions' Product and Customer Experience team is looking for Product Managers who are passionate about building customer centric products.

We're looking for a spirited, passionate thinker who can bring a fresh perspective and new innovative solutions to complex problems.   

 

The Product Manager works closely with the business, product, and technical teams as a major contributor to the required specification deliverables. Initially, the PM will be focused on the business and functional requirements, including problem statements, business cases, and user stories. As the product matures, this person will move onto the other aspects of the product lifecycle- ideation, design, development and support.

This person should understand business processes and ensure integration between business and technology. S/he will also work closely with our UX teams in the design and refinement of the product.  

Responsibilities: 

Drive requirements reviews with internal teams and with customers to ensure clarity and understanding; communicate the vision

Oversee and assist in the development of requirements from epics and stories down to JIRA tickets and Confluence pages

Create workflow and use case documents as needed

Work with UX teams to ensure design fits business and technical requirements

Be the product owner in sprint planning and daily standups; pay meticulous attention to prioritizing the backlog; inspire and provide steady direction to technology teams

Meet with customer teams and customers to understand pain points and help guide roadmap priorities; map releases to customer and market needs

Manage cross-functional projects by providing project leadership and daily management throughout the project from inception to delivery

Evangelize product direction to internal stakeholders and customers. Identify commonalities or gaps across stakeholders and proactively drive toward alignment

Act as the translation layer between business users and technology teams. This requires you to be comfortable with both business speak' and tech speak'

Develop product roadmap; Review product performance; Conduct market and competitive analysis

Work with Legal, Security, and Compliance to ensure guidelines are being met 

Required Skills: 

Practical experience in Agile Scrum Methodologies and Agile tools like Jira, Confluence, Rally/AgileCraft, VersionOne, etc.

Utilize analytical, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to help identify, communicate and resolve issues.

Familiarity with design and mockup tools like Visio, Axure and Balsamiq, etc.

Comfortable collaborating in a cross-functional team, and speaking to Senior-level management

Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects

Desire and aptitude for learning new domains quickly

Strong quantitative and analytical skills

Excellent written communication skills, writing for technical domains

Experience in building software for consumers

Agency, Consulting, or Technical background is highly desirable 

 

Required Experience: 

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Business Administration, or in a related technical field. 

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

5+ years of experience working as a Product Manager, Product Owner or Business Analyst

5+ years writing business and functional requirements and user stories
