Job Summary

Responsible for leading the strategy, creation, development, deployment, and maintenance of the marketing communication vehicles for Omni-Channel campaigns. Work collaboratively with other leadership and internal customers to effectively allocate and coordinate resources and talent on complex initiatives.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

•Establishes the strategic, conceptual and development phases of omni-channel marketing communication initiatives. Develops the creative strategy to evolve HD Supply from “print only” to maximizing an omni-channel approach.

•Leads the creative development process and communication between all creative teams and managers ensuring brand adherence while leveraging strong project management capabilities.

•Manages relationships with internal teams/clients to ensure the overall creative development process is effective and efficient.

•Leads the functional areas on strategic brainstorming and conceptualization as part of the creative development process. Develops impactful and holistic creative strategy and elements to support CRM programs.

•Works cross-functionally to ensure the team is consistently producing work that supports business goals.

•Ensures the accuracy and management of all digital assets, copy, and photography. Defines video strategy to support online customer experience. Participates in the design of marketing communications, internal communications, copywriting, and editing.

•Oversees the bid and quoting process and vendor negotiations for creative projects. Manages budgeting and P&L. Drives incremental revenue via compelling and efficient direct response vehicles.

•Manages the performance of associates and recognizes, trains, coaches, counsels, and takes corrective action when warranted.

Nature and Scope

•Problems are typically defined by higher level leadership. Problems are difficult. Solutions require analysis and investigation.

•Decides how to achieve planned results within an organization's plans, policies and guidelines. May set or change plans/goals within respective department or area.

•May manage department via multiple layers of managers OR directly supervise a staff of professionals IC's at the senior or technical advisor level.

Work Environment

•Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

•Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

•Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.

Education and Experience

•Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline. Generally 9+ years experience in related field including several years in a management/supervisory capacity.

Preferred Qualifications

•10+ years marketing and creative design management

•BS/BA in Graphic Design and/or Visual Arts.

•Extensive expertise in the areas of omni-channel marketing, digital/mobile/web design, direct response marketing, CRM and print publications (including catalogs).

•Prior agency experience preferred
