The Marketing Communications Specialist will work closely with the Omnichannel Marketing Integration Manager and Senior Manager of Omnichannel Marketing Strategy to drive revenue through collaboration with our Sales and Customer Care associates in the field about new campaigns and marketing initiatives.

JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a friendly, out of the box thinker to make a BIG impact in the Omnichannel Marketing Team as a Marketing Communications Specialist.

The Marketing Communications Specialist will work closely with the Omnichannel Marketing Integration Manager and Senior Manager of Omnichannel Marketing Strategy to drive revenue through collaboration with our Sales and Customer Care associates in the field about new campaigns and marketing initiatives.

This position is very administrative and customer service focused and requires an individual that is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and flexible. Must be a team player who is always willing to pitch in with other tasks as needed to successfully support our Sales and Customer Care associates in the field. Experience in sales, marketing, customer service, and/or account management is required.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work with project leads to understand deliverables and timelines in order to develop PowerPoint presentations for weekly Sales and Customer Care cadence meetings.
  • Research, identify, and develop key messaging for multiple internal and external audiences.
  • Act as an internal public relations specialist to keep our Sales and Customer Care associates updated on all campaigns and marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure that all internal communications are consistent across all channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal associates.
  • Respond to questions and requests for help from our Sales and Customer Care associates via email, phone, and Salesforce Chatter.
  • Organize and maintain weekly Omnichannel campaign information and reporting as required by management.
  • Travel up to 25% of time to industry events, Customer Care Centers, and Sales meetings as needed.
  • Create and implement other tactical marketing initiatives as directed.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in a fast-paced sales, marketing, and/or customer service environment.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong consultative, creative, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage several projects at once.
  • Holds self-accountable for achieving established performance objective.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.

Preferred Skills:

  • Retail, sales, and/or cross channel experience.
  • Experience with call center technology and SAP, Salesforce and Marketing Cloud.
  • B2B account management experience.
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
